Mating Disruption for Codling Moth & Oriental Fruit Moth
CheckMate® Puffer® CM-OFM Pro
CheckMate® Puffer® CM-OFM Pro is Suterra's optimized aerosol release formulation that provides protection against both codling moth (CM) and Oriental fruit moth (OFM) in one product. It can be used in apples, pears and other crops where both CM and OFM are pests.
This proprietary formulation results in enhanced aerosolization of the pheromone creating a spray that better penetrates targeted areas of the canopy. The fast-to-deploy product releases a precise, consistent amount of CM and OFM sex pheromone throughout the orchard, reducing adult males’ ability to find females.
Checkmate® Puffer® CM-OFM Pro is compatible with all Integrated Pest Management (IPM) tools.

and OFM are present
Monitor mating disruption effectiveness using large delta traps, CM BioLure®, and OFM BioLure®
Trap for CM and OFM using separate traps baited with the correct lure
Populations of CM and OFM in mating disruption orchards can be monitored using combination pheromone-kairomone lures in delta traps or by using bait traps for OFM
Hang traps early in the season
At least 1 trap per 15-20 acres; minimum 2 traps per block
Check traps weekly, replacing lures every
other month
CM and OFM larvae feed on the fruit and nuts
