Mating Disruption for Beet Armyworm
CheckMate® BAW-F
CheckMate® BAW-F is Suterra’s pioneering sprayable pheromone release formulation for beet armyworm (BAW) in root and tuber vegetables, leafy vegetables, cole crops and other crops where BAW is present.
Easy-to-deploy and a flexible option for beet armyworm control, CheckMate® BAW-F easily fits into growers’ existing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program. It is tank-mixable with common agrochemicals and works well with nearly any water volume. This product releases the BAW sex pheromone in microcapsules throughout the field, reducing adult males’ ability to find females. This disrupts the mating cycle and suppresses pest populations.
CheckMate® BAW-F gives growers the flexibility to spray as few or as many times throughout the season depending on the timing and pressure of BAW in their crops. It is also an excellent solution for residue-sensitive growers because it is MRL exempt.
