The principal products manufactured by Suterra are biorational pest control agents that use naturally occurring agents and biochemicals, such as synthetic pheromones, to control pest populations. These pheromones are used in monitoring systems to detect and identify insect pest populations. In addition, the pheromones are used in products that interfere with the ability of male insects to locate females of the same species, thereby disrupting mating and controlling the damage to crops inflicted by the hatching larvae.
